GREEN, Ohio - Fortune Drive in the city of Green was transformed into a Soap Box Derby Hill in Seattle, Washington, on Monday.
The cast and crew of 25 Hill, the movie about the All-American Soap Box Derby, were shooting a scene for the movie.
The story is about a boy, Trey Caldwell, whose father bought him a derby car for Christmas. His father is then deployed to Afghanistan and is killed.
Trey decides to fulfill his dad’s dream and race in the derby.
Bailee Madison plays Trey’s nemesis in the movie. She said Sunday was her first time to ride in a derby car.

“I was like hyperventilating and it’s like 'OK I’m going to start doing this,'” said Madison.

If you are interested in being an extra in the movie, you can show up at 3749 Fortune Drive in Green on Tuesday or Wednesday.
They crew will also be filming in Cleveland on Saturday. If you are interested in showing up on Saturday, you can register with the producers by sending an email to treycaldwell25hill@gmail.com . You will get an confirmation email with all of the information you will need.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find the "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark" trailer and clip shown at Comic-Con a few days ago. I've been reading a few blogs and articles, and people were very impressed with what was shown. The movie is rated R, not because there is any profanity or nudity in it, but because it's just too scary. Anyways, I was able to find a longer synopsis for the movie, which you can read below:

Sally Hurst (Bailee Madison), a lonely, withdrawn child, has just arrived in Rhode Island to live with her father Alex (Guy Pearce) and his new girlfriend Kim (Holmes) at the 19th-century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the sprawling estate, the young girl discovers a hidden basement, undisturbed since the strange disappearance of the mansion’s builder a century ago. When Sally unwittingly lets loose a race of ancient, dark-dwelling creatures who conspire to drag her down into the mysterious house’s bottomless depths, she must convince Alex and Kim that it’s not a fantasy—before the evil lurking in the dark consumes them all.

Bailee was snapped a few days ago while filming Law & Order: SVU. Guess who will have a guest appearance in the same episode as Bails? Joan Cusack! Isn't that awesome?. The pics are small, yet adorable! You can take a look at them by clicking the thumbnails below.

As we told you a few weeks ago, "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" will be showing a preview at Comic-Con on July 23rd, and guess what? For Comic-Con promotion, they've released the first movie poster! It features Bailee's character, Sally, but it's like a drawing, not a real photo. Still, very exciting, right? Also, there's an official site now, but it doesn't really have much, just the movie logo. I'm sure they'll add more content to the site soon.

Bailee's new puppy Maddy has been having health problems recently, she even had to go to the hospital. We're asking all of you, Bailee fans, to please pray for her and the Madison family, or just to keep them in your thoughts, if you're not religious. I know Bailee and her family would really appreciate it. Let's hope Maddy gets better soon!
