Teen Vogue Interview
Teen Vogue talked to Bailee about the movie she's currently filming and producing, "Annabelle Hooper And The Ghosts Of Nantucket". The article features some gorgeous pictures taken by Patrick Penkwitt.
"I literally just ran down from a lighthouse. We're filming a huge scene and I was like 'wait, Teen Vogue, we have to go!'" said Bailee Madison, "so if I sound a little bit out of breath, that's totally why." She didn't sound out of breath at all when we talked to her about her new movie, Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket, which is about an aspiring mystery writer who thinks she may have found a ghost haunting her family's vacation home. Annabelle then takes the opportunity to try to get to the bottom of the house's "White Widow," but when she meets a boy named Billy (played by Mavrick Moreno), she thinks she might have found the key to the story.

Bailee is not only starring in but also producing the film - and this marks her first time in a producer's chair. Production began on September 11th, but she already seems like she has the hang of everything both roles entail.

It helps that she has a friend on set in Mavrick, who was also in the Nickelodeon show Every Witch Way, and has worked with the actress before on Parental Guidance. "I'm having so much fun," Bailee said of teaming up with her pal. She also walked Teen Vogue through what it's like to juggle two jobs at once and work in and around historic Nantucket - a place she absolutely loves.

Bailee Joins Tumblr!
Bailee has an official Tumblr account! You can follow her at xobaileemadison.tumblr.com. For her first post, she wrote a beautiful piece about labels and stereotypes, which we highly encourage you to read and share.
Label : Something you put on clothes. Not on people.

Hi Guys,

As you know I've been wanting to create a tumblr for a while now. The reason being is that I have so many moments that are just too big to share in a short 140 character tweet. I also have so many feelings that I want to be able to express. I want us to be able to have an environment where we can discuss topics that need to be addressed, a place for us to give each other advice and to support one another. I want this to be a place that we can come and let our feelings out, our opinions out and pour our hearts out. So I hope that you will be a part of this journey with me!

The first thing I want to write about is something that I am currently experiencing and something that I've truly always been going through without me being old enough to realize it. I think to be quite honest ALL of us at some point in our lives go through this and IT. NEEDS. TO. BE. TALKED. ABOUT.

I'm talking about LABELS. No, not the kind we put on our lunch boxes when we are a kid, or on our sweater so if we lose it on the playground it can be returned to us, or even the ones that we put on the side of a mason jar with the fresh jam we just made (hello Pinterest thank you for the idea). I'm talking LABELS. The kind of LABELS that are put on PEOPLE.
